Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Magnific Automation (the "Extension") handles information when you install and use our Chrome browser extension. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a safe, secure automation experience.
2. Data Collection and Usage
Because the Extension is designed to automate processes directly within your local browser environment, we operate under a strict policy of data minimization:
- Account and Session Data: The Extension uses Firebase Authentication to handle secure login (such as Google Sign-in or email verification) for user identification. Your session credentials and configuration states are stored locally on your device in secure browser storage (such as
IndexedDBandlocalStorage). - Prompt and URL Processing: All prompt lists, configuration settings, and destination URLs you enter are processed entirely in the local memory of your active browser session. We do not transmit or store your prompts, outputs, or workflow configurations on our servers.
- Local Exports: You have the option to save your automation logs and history. If you choose to do so, this data is compiled and saved directly to your local computer as a CSV file. We never have access to these files.
3. Security of Your Magnific Credentials
The Extension operates entirely within your active, logged-in Magnific session. It does not require, ask for, store, or transmit your Magnific username, password, or security tokens. No account credentials are sent to our servers or any third-party services.
4. Third-Party Services
To support the functionality of the Extension, we rely on the following trusted third-party providers:
- Firebase Authentication: To manage user login, verification, and authentication securely.
- Cloudflare Pages: To host the web assets and configuration data for the landing page and policy documentation.
- jsDelivr CDN: To retrieve public script assets (such as temporary blocklists of invalid/disposable email addresses to protect our service integrity).
We do not sell, rent, or share any personal information or usage data with advertising networks or other third parties.
5. Children's Privacy
The Extension is not directed at or intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Extension after any updates constitute acceptance of the revised policy.
